CAD technical design

The design of the molds goes through a careful preliminary analysis of the real needs of the customer (estimated production, timing, budget, etc.) with the aim of preventing any possible critical event and optimizing the production processes. In this first phase, the customer is supported by our technical department that is able to provide the best advice and suggestions to align the customer's requests with construction needs.

The analysis can also start from the study of a prototype: in this case, with 3D SCANNING, we offer a reverse engineering service by recovering the shapes that will then be converted into digital data, obtaining files suitable for processing with our CAD systems.

The choice of molding material

Great attention is also paid to the choice of molding material: our customers deal with very different product sectors, so we are always able to suggest the best compromise between mechanical, aesthetic and economic needs.

How does the design take place?

Our team of highly specialized designers is equipped with advanced cad-cam systems that allow mold design and machine tool programming. During this phase, great care is given to every detail, from the analysis of tolerances, to the shrinkage rate of materials up to the dynamics of extraction of the article from the mold, with attention always focused on the best possible industrialization thanks to the daily experience in the molding department.
